Built on principles

  • Privacy by architecture:your data is encrypted with AES-256 via SQLCipher and stays on your Mac unless you choose otherwise. No cloud dependency, no tracking, no telemetry.

  • AI that respects your data:on-device AI via Ollama handles feed scoring, relationship nudges, meeting prep, and natural language queries. Your data never goes to an AI company's server unless you explicitly choose it.

What you can do

  • Manage contacts:import from vCard, export to vCard or JSON. Rich profiles with warmth scores, tags, and full interaction history.
  • Track companies:first-class company records with all contacts, activity, and feed items in one view. Know when contacts change jobs.
  • Read your feeds:RSS, Reddit, Hacker News, job boards, and GitHub releases. AI-scored, summarised, and linked to your contacts.
  • Connect your email:iCloud, Gmail, Fastmail, or any IMAP provider. Metadata-only or full sync, always local and encrypted.
  • Sync your calendar: your iCloud calendars, read on your device. Meetings become interactions, and the AI writes your prep before tomorrow's meetings.
  • Answer what is waiting:see which emails are still awaiting your reply, and reply from inside the app.
  • Set reminders:per-contact follow-up cadences with a morning digest. Calendar-aware, snooze-friendly, native macOS notifications.
  • Keep Things in step:two-way sync with Things 3. A follow-up here is a to-do there, and ticking it off in either place updates both.

Under the hood

NexxusCRM is a native Mac app built with Tauri 2, with no Electron and no bloat. It uses SQLite with SQLCipher for encrypted storage, Tantivy for local search, and Ollama for on-device AI inference, with cloud models only if you add one. The frontend is React with Tailwind CSS: fast, responsive, and keyboard-driven.

No subscriptions. No data harvesting. No servers required. Open data model: export your contacts and their history as JSON or vCard at any time. A tool that helps you nurture the relationships that drive your career, and keeps your data exactly where it belongs: on your machine.
